Join Mid America Horse Rescue's monthly membership program and help care for the horses we rescue each year. Members receive invitations to special events and news about our furry friends.
Levels
- Kids Club "Team Troubadour" - $5 per month
Provide a hoof trimming to one horse each month.
Troubadour is one of the first foals born at Mid America Horse Rescue. This yearling was foaled to Rapid Presence (aka Rae Anne), and is known at the barn as “Troubie,” a fun-loving boy who loves carrots, apples and peppermints. This little guy will grow up soon and is learning ground manners nicely. Troubadour will serve as a Mid America Horse Rescue ambassador and learn to be an equine assisted therapy horse for children and adults with disabilities.
- Barn Buddy - $25
For the base fee, you can become an official member of our Mid America Horse Rescue family. This fee will help purchase a hoof trim for one horse every 4 to 6 weeks.
- Friend of Buck - $35
For just a few dollars more, you can ensure that 12 horses receive their annual vaccination.
- Herd Member - $50
This amount will provide 3 bags of specialty feed for 1 horse for one week.
- Horse Lover - $100
This amount will help pay for 25 bales of hay that will feed 20 horses for 3 days.
- Horse Sponsor - $250
This amount will help pay for 1 ½ tons of bulk grain that will feed all the horses for 5 days.
- Thoroughbred Ambassador - $500
This amount will help us pay for the shavings necessary to create cozy beds for our Thoroughbreds for nearly two weeks.
- Buck's Fund - $1,000
Ensure that our rescue horses can eat for one month with a donation of $1,000.
- Create a Legacy Club - $2,500
Create a legacy by providing the money necessary to jumpstart a rescued horse's new training as a therapy horse.
