VOLUNTEER

Caring for horses is a 24 hour, 7 day a week gift of love and commitment and we are looking for gifted, loving folks willing to give the gift of time. We have stalls that need to be cleaned, horses to groom, buckets to be washed, plantings around the barn to be maintained. If you are interested in heading up or working on a fundraising committee, adoption committee, public relations committee, etc. We welcome all people from all walks of life that have the same passion for these horses we share! SPONSORSHIP

Bred and trained to race, most of our retired horses were professional racehorses. They worked hard for mankind from an early age to make money for their owners and trainers. But once their racing career was over, if they were not suitable for breeding, their future was uncertain. Some of our retirees were donated by their former owners, but most are not. Several were picked up at the recent paddock sale where four (4) killer buyers were present and they would have found themselves on their way to slaughter. Help these horses live their lives out respectfully and fruitfully; begin giving the "thank you" their hard work as racers deserves.
